There is a data base that collects information on mass shootings that occur in the United States. The statement provided by the organization is as follows: “The Mass Shooting Tracker is a crowd-sourced database of U.S. mass shootings. We define a “mass shooting” as a single outburst of violence in which four or more people are shot. This is not the same as mass murder as defined by the FBI.” Below is an image that is located on the main page of their website that keeps overall important information in regards to the number of mass shootings.
